Anyway! On to the actual blogging. So tomorrow i'm going to the Houston area outlet mall with my friend and of course i'm going to check out the CCO (cosmetics company outlet). In case you don't know, the CCO sells Estee Lauder-owned brands at discounted prices. This includes MAC, Bobbi Brown, Clinique, etc. I always love going because you can usually find a good array of MAC permanents and even some hard-to-find limited editions! The last time I went I bought a limited edition chromeglass and a fluidline for like $10. It's great, you should go if there's one close by :)

I'll definitely take pictures and swatches if I end up buying anything.

The beginning!

So I finally have this blog up-- somewhat. I created it forever ago but now that i'm on winter break I feel that I can finally dedicate real time to it. This is my first makeup blog and blog in general, so bear with me as I get a handle on things :)

A little about me... my name is Tina, i'm a freshman in college, I live in Texas, and I am in love with makeup, duh! The interesting thing is I just started wearing makeup the summer I was entering my senior year of high school. At first I thought drugstore makeup was a big deal and then I discovered MAC! Obviously I had seen it and heard of MAC before but never any of the other big name brands like Smashbox, Benefit, Stila, etc. I had never even owned anything by MAC and I was already becoming obsessed with it through other makeup blogs. I followed the first collection I heard of: Heatherette. Omg, being a huge fan of makeup, the color pink, and the gorgeous sparkly packaging of Heatherette - I was in love! I totally had to have the makeup and I looked at swatches and took the whole thing very seriously lol.

Anyway, right when it came out I made my first MAC purchase (Heatherette and some permanents) and the rest is history :) I even worked at Ulta and I now have a cute little collection, but as always it can be expanded. My goals with this blog is to serve as my own creative outlet, while maybe inspiring some people along the way. By no means do I consider myself a "professional" and I still look at tutorials to re-create a look, but for a somewhat makeup "newbie" I'd say i'm doing pretty good for myself. I've even converted a few people (my mom included!) into MAC addicts hahaha ;)
